The world-renowned econometrician Professor Cheng Hsiao, from University of Southern California will visit Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE) in December. They will give lectures to postgraduates at WISE on Microeconometrics .
Professor Cheng Hsiao is the author of “Analysis of Panel Data”, which has been recognized as a classic text in the literature of panel data econometrics as well as the applications to contemporary fields of economics and finance. The lectures on Microeconometrics, which are going to cover discrete choice model and limited-dependent and qualitative variables, will be given by Prof Hsiao at four individual times and each time for 3 hours.
