WISE and Antai College of Economics & Management of Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJTU) will co-host the 2007 Asia-Pacific Futures Research Symposium (APFRS 2007) on March 1st 2nd 2007 in a joint effort with the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT). This symposium will usher in a new era of collaboration between WISE and SJTU.
CBOT is one of the oldest institutions of its kind in the world. It has been organizing academic and practical conferences and symposiums since 1948. These symposiums and conferences are typically characterized by the participation of experts from wide range background including professional traders, officials of supervisory bodies and academics. The first APFRS took place in Hong Kong in 1990, and APFRS 2007 will be the first symposium to be held in mainland China.
