Recently, QS (Quacquarelli Symonds), a leading provider of data, expertise and solutions for the global higher education sector, officially released the QS World University Rankings 2025. Xiamen University is ranked 78th globally in the Economics & Econometrics subject, rising nearly 60 places compared with last year and entering the world’s top 100 for the first time.
In addition, Xiamen University was ranked 68th globally in Economics according to the 2024 Global Ranking of Academic Subjects published at the end of 2024 by ShanghaiRanking, a fully independent organization dedicating to research on higher education intelligence and consultation, and is ranked 46th in the world in Economics and Business according to the 2024-2025 Best Global Universities Rankings released by U.S. News.
