RAS (Research & Analytical Services) Wuhan office is a research and development center established in 2006 to complement our existing global research capability. Our research includes: delivering global research publications, economic and financial modelling, analytical tool development, business service line support, background research, data manipulation and analysis. We possess a free and innovative atmosphere; associates are encouraged to develop their own thoughts, skills, and most importantly, their careers. Vacancies – RAS Wuhan
Associate Economist
To apply for an Associate Economist role, you must have or be about to receive a Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Insurance, Actuary, Mathematics, or Statistics. Acting as a core member in research teams, you are expected to have deep understanding of economic and financial theories and possess advanced modeling skills. Technical knowledge in labour economics, financial modelling and applied econometrics is especially preferable.
Associate Analyst
Applications are welcomed from those candidates with Insurance, Actuary, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics degree at bachelor’s level. Candidates must have strong analytical and writing skill with a relevant undergraduate degree. Relevant work experience and proficiency with econometric and statistics software (e.g. Stata, R, VBA) are highly desirable.
Summer intern
We look for summer interns who will participate in and lead research projects. The ideal candidates should be:
- Penultimate-year undergraduates or postgraduate (including PHD) students
- Major in Economics, Finance, Econometrics, Mathematics, Insurance, Statistics or Actuary
- Creative and logical thinking
- Familiar with basic computer operations, Excel especially
All applicants must possess fluent English, both written and spoken, and those fluent in Korean or Japanese are highly desirable. Above all we seek a professional attitude and a natural tendency towards research.
