ASIA-PACIFIC FUTURES RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM
Celebrating its 20th Year
Hong Kong February 25-26, 2010
Call for Papers and Participants
The Symposium provides a platform for researchers and practitioners to share and discuss the latest research and issues in derivatives and risk management. APFRS fosters interaction among practitioners and academics and promotes research with a global perspective that advances the state of knowledge in financial engineering.
The Symposium is one of the longest running derivatives research programs in the world, having begun in 1948 when the Chicago Board of Trade hosted its first marketing symposium, marking the formal beginning of the CBOTs commitment to support research in derivative markets.
The 2010 Symposium returns to Hong Kong, the site of the first APFRS, for its 20th meeting. Previous symposia have also been held in Bangkok, Thailand; Seoul, Korea; Shanghai, China; Singapore; Sydney, Australia; and Taipei, Taiwan.
The Symposium features a one and a half day program focusing on derivative securities and markets research
