由厦门大学王亚南经济研究院和中国科学院数学与系统科学研究院统计科学研究中心联合主办的“2006金融工程与风险管理国际研讨会”，即将于2006年7月5日正式拉开帷幕。这是我们两个单位主办的一次高水平的学术研讨会，会期两天，会议主题为“金融工程与风险管理的新近发展”。届时会有来自美国、英国、加拿大、瑞士、印度、中国台湾及国内多所知名高校的专家、学者（包括一名中科院院士）100余人参会，这些著名国际学者在金融工程与风险管理的理论及其应用方面均做出了重要贡献。此次会议的成功举办必将在增强厦门大学经济学科国内外学术交流、扩大厦门大学国际学术影响力上产生重大影响。
