《中国工业经济》“机器学习在经济学和管理学中的应用” 专题研讨会主题演讲（一）

林光平教授任教于 波特兰州立大学经济系，他在1977年于纽约州立大学石溪分校取得经济学博士学位，1978-1979年于哈佛大学进行博后研究，在著名经济学家、诺贝尔经济学奖得主肯尼斯.J.阿罗教授的指导下，完成了经济系统中决策有效性的研究项目；20世纪80年代以来，林教授曾先后执教于纽约州立大学石溪分校、Reed大学以及在中国包括清华大学，厦门大学在内的多所大学。林教授的研究兴趣非常广泛，包括大数据计量经济学，计算计量经济学, 金融计量经济学，空间计量经济学，中国经济等方向。他的研究发表在Journal of Finance、Journal of Mathematical Economics、Econometrics、 Economics Letters、Economic Modeling、 Eurasian Economic Review、China Economic Review 等知名学术期刊上。近年来林光平敎授与中国学生学者在国内合作及完成的论文可见于《数理经济技术经济研究》，《经济学季刊》，《统计研究》，《系统工程理论与实践》等。unbiased and efficient estimates of price elasticity are evaluated and compared.

摘要：Based on Belloni, et. al. (JEP 2014) and Chernozhukov, et. al. (AER 2017, EJ 2018), we presents an applied machine learning study of price elasticity of wine sales in Vancouver, B.C. area. Various algorithms of double machine learning for unbiased and efficient estimates of price elasticity are evaluated and compared.
