WISE has successfully consummated its graduate students’ admission today. This year WISE has recruited 52 Master students and 16 PhD students. The students who entered oneself to the exam of entrance to WISE mainly come from the famous universities across the country, and the students recruited are quite excellent whose credit grades are in the front line of their original school and departments.
Since its foundation, WISE has retained more than ten full-time and part-time scholars who consist of a good work team, and the institute is active and aspiring in the construction of subjects, academic studies and international communications. Due to the hard and excellent work of the team, now WISE has made up her own academic brand of econometrics, modern finance and labor economics. At the same while, WISE is also positive in looking for a new module of cultivating her own graduate students, and is trying her best to give the students the strictest and most systematic normative training which follows the international standard core courses and advanced frontier courses as to give her students well-knit economics theories and methodology foundations. What’s more, WISE has been holding many kinds of series lectures or seminars and the young scholar forums, so as to enhance the second class and enlarge the academic scopes of the students.
WISE is also using its abundant academic resources and relations to help her students to go abroad, recommend the students to study in western or other countries to enhance their academic abilities. This July there will be another 10 or more master students of 2006 go to Singapore Management University to start their 18 months study there, where they will be able to gain a double master’s degree of SMU and XMU individually.
