The academic paper “Consumption Stimulus with Digital Coupons: Heterogeneity and Policy Design”, co‑authored by Associate Professor Ying Chen and Assistant Professor Jiaming Mao from the College of Economics at Xiamen University (XMU), has recently been published in the Journal of Public Economics, a top‑tier international journal in the field of public economics. Ying Chen is an Associate Professor at the School of Economics and the Paula and Gregory Chow Institute for Studies in Economics, Xiamen University. She received her Ph.D. from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her primary research interests lie in urban economics. Her work has appeared in journals such as the Journal of Public Economics, the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, and the Journal of Urban Economics.
Jiaming Mao is an Assistant Professor at the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics and the School of Economics, Xiamen University. He obtained his Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University and specializes in applied microeconomics. His research has been published in the Journal of Public Economics and The Econometrics Journal, among others.
