Recently, a collaborative paper titled “Where has all the dynamism gone? Productivity growth in China’s manufacturing sector, 1998-2013” by Associate Professor Luhang Wang from WISE at Xiamen University (XMU), in collaboration with Professor Loren Brandt from the University of Toronto, Professor Johannes Van Biesebroeck from KU Leuven, and Professor Yifan Zhang from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, has been officially published by the Journal of Development Economics, a top journal in development economics. The journal is recognized as a Class-A international journal by XMU College of Economics according to the college’s own tiered journal ranking list.
Luhang Wang, PhD from the University of Toronto, Canada, is currently an Associate Professor at WISE. Her research covers Chinese Economy and Development Economics, with publications in well-known journals such as China Economic Quarterly, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, China Economic Review, American Economic Review, and Journal of Comparative Economics.
