Recently, Professor Xia Wang, a Ph.D. graduate of the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE) at Xiamen University, was invited to serve as Associate Editor of the Journal of Econometrics, a leading journal in the field of econometrics.
The Journal of Econometrics is a top authoritative journal in econometrics, holding a leading position in the innovation of econometric theory and methods. The journal sets extremely high standards for theoretical depth and technical rigor, publishing research that represents the international frontier and significantly influences various branches of economics, including macroeconomics and finance.
Xia Wang studied at WISE from 2009 to 2013, where she earned her Ph.D. in Economics. She is currently a Wu Yuzhang Distinguished Professor and doctoral supervisor at Renmin University of China. Her research focuses primarily on theoretical econometrics, as well as macroeconomic monitoring and forecasting. She has published over 30 papers in top journals such as International Economic Review, Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Business & Economic Statistics, Econometric Theory, and Economic Research Journal.
