Teatime
A teatime with the students from the WISE-SOE International Master’s Programs was held at the Sunwise Café on June 19 afternoon. The teatime aimed to provide a chance for students enrolled in different years to communicate with each other and for graduates to get suggestions from professors about their future careers. It also helped WISE collect student feedback about their study and life experiences in Xiamen so as to make changes that improve the experience for future students.

Farewell Dinner
On June 19 evening, WISE held a farewell dinner to celebrate the successful graduation of the 2015 class with over 250 students and 20 faculty and staff members in attendance. This summer, WISE has 321 graduate students, including 20 from the WISE Taiwan PhD Program, 6 from the WISE Doctoral Programs, 32 from the WISE Master's Programs, 19 from the WISE-SOE International Master’s Programs, 209 from the WISE Undergraduate Double Degree Programs, and 35 from the first cohort of the WISE International Undergraduate Experimental Class.

Student Severin E. from Germany received the "Best Thesis" award for his paper titled "The impact of cross-border income inequality on property crime rates: Evidence from the Schengen area expansion" (supervised by Professor Cheryl Long), while student Paporn Kamonkhantikul received the "Excellent Thesis" award for her paper titled "Trade Deflection and Trade Depression Effects of Import Restriction Policies on Developing Country: The Case of Thailand" (supervised by Professor Luhang Wang).
Students received a set of Economics Building postcards, a key ring and a bookmark as their graduation mementos.
Graduation Ceremony
The graduation ceremony was held on June 21 at the Xiamen University Jiannan Auditorium. 4481 bachelors, 2464 masters and 377 doctoral students graduated from Xiamen University this summer.
